The use of SYNTRAN® film formers in your products prevents make-up from smudging. Through our proprietary process, we combine monomers with powerful functional groups to achieve an optimal balance between adhesion, cohesion, shine, flexibility and water resistance.
The pre-neutralised SYNTRAN® products are easy to use because they are supplied in liquid form. Whether in mascara, eyeliner or eye shadow, our products ensure the desired properties, such as resistance against water and wear. Due to the transparency of the film, the authentic colours of the utilised pigments are reflected. In O/W or aqueous systems, our polymers and film formers display their properties ideally: in mascara, they provide the necessary adhesion during application and define the eyelashes perfectly without sticking to them, and they allow to create water-resistant eyeliners with an extremely glossy appearance.
Emollients can be used in a variety of ways. First of all, they create a pleasant, smooth feel by nourishing and relaxing the skin. With a combination of different emollients, additional sensory effects can be achieved, such as an increase in skin moisture. In addition, emollients can enhance pigment dispersion and stability in colour cosmetics products.
Emulsifiers are surface-active substances that are used to combine two originally immiscible or only partially miscible liquids like water and oil. Gentle cleansing emulsions are mainly used in facial cleansing, for instance as eye make-up removers.
Our acrylic resins are clear polymers with dispersing properties. Pigments are added to the SYNTRAN® dispersants in order to produce stable pigment dispersions. The result: good colour properties and high gloss in cosmetic products. In addition, they ensure that the pigments remain well-dispersed – even if only small quantities are added.
Solubilisers are used to produce clear aqueous solutions of different oils, like perfumes or essential oils of various origins. Caring components can also be incorporated into make-up formulations.
Our ready-to-use pre-dispersed pigments enable manufacturers to mix pigmented formulas right away. Thanks to the choice of different ingredients, great colour strength and excellent coverage properties can be achieved – without compromising the properties of the film former in the end product, such as shine, adhesion and water resistance.
